Come with your stories and your willingness and leave with a plan, a manuscript, and your own writing practice. We will engage deeply with exercises to build connections with the past, structure your narrative, approach difficult memories, build your daily writing practice, and take initial steps to being published. Sharing our stories has never been more important.

Antonio Michael Downing is your heart-centered, community-minded moderator who has published acclaimed books with Milkweed Editions, Penguin Random House and Simon and Schuster. His memoir SAGA BOY was called “singularly dazzling,” by author and memorist Kiese Laymon and was started at our very own Hill House at Earthwork Farms.
