Welcome to the farm

For more than 45 years, Earthwork Farm has served as a sacred center where the arts, regenerative agriculture, and community building intersect.

Our goal is to create and partner with events that embody our values of creativity, collaboration, and connection; alongside our pillars of youth empowerment, regenerative agriculture, and community building.

Our goal is to create and partner with events that embody our values of creativity, collaboration, and connection; alongside our pillars of youth empowerment, regenerative agriculture, and community building.

Through formal and informal gatherings, retreats, events, workshops, residencies, field trips, and festivals, thousands of people have found their way to the farm and connected with the land.

Live Music and Performances

Our farm is as timeless as the unchanging truth of music and home for the “those that know” musical community, featuring three custom stages built with our own sawmill.

In partnership with Ground Control Touring, under the leadership of our longtime friend Susie Giang, we are hosting regional and national touring acts

We host everything from intimate barn dances to national touring acts that span all genres. Notable performers: Greensky Bluegrass and Vulfpeck, among others.

Weddings and Private Celebrations

Earthwork Farm provides an intimate backdrop for your special day. Celebrate your milestone in a setting with spiritual roots that support the shared joy of your commitment.

Workshops and Seminars

We continue our tradition of hosting events where guests spend their time participating in workshops focused on self-reliance and community resilience. These gatherings typically culminate in a farm-to-table dinner and a social dance in the barn.

Men’s, Women’s, and Wellness Retreats

The farm serves as a sanctuary for personal development and healing. Our calendar includes specialized men’s and women’s retreats, queer and trans gatherings, and digital detox weekends designed to help guests step away from their devices and commune with the land.

Educational and Youth Programming

Through our Earthwork Farm School and partnerships with local schools, we host youth empowerment projects and ecology-focused Family Weekends that ground the next generation in a sense of home and creativity.

Community Gatherings

Our venue also hosts a variety of culturally rich events, including Senior Nights in partnership with Hospice of Michigan, writers’ retreats led by best-selling authors, and the Juneteenth Film Festival.

Whether you are joining us for a Bluegrass Brunch, a specialized artist residency, or a solo retreat, Earthwork Farm offers a space to relax, restore, and be vulnerable while living close to the earth through the seasons
